Edelbrock LT question
Hey, I have some Edelbrock LTs and I was wondering if they will fit on a 98 TA with out any problems. The question of EGR and AIR fittings keeps coming up. Any input would be great. Sorry if this is a dumb question as well i searched it and couldn't find any answers. Thanks in advance.

if the headers are for the ls1 then they will. you can eliminate the egr and air system with some blocking plates and tune it out.

Edelbrock makes headers both with and without provisions for EGR and AIR. Do the ones you have have the provisions?

If they have provisions they will have a little flange coming off of the header tubes. One on each side for the AIR system and if they are 98-99 headers they will have 2 on the passenger side header. One for the AIR and one for EGR. IIRC the Edelbrocks with the welded collectors all have provisions while the slip fit collector models do not.

Hum thanks a lot for the help. I'll have to go look. Is there any advantage or disadvantage to having them or not?
