I am a huge fan of subtle.
The black looks great and doesn't stick out against the color of the car.
Mine are black against my black car.

Black wheels would have been too much black on mine.
Polished would probably look great as well.
Red would clash terribly in my opinion.

I dunno it's split between red and polished...Cuz i think the red will go with the yellow and look good peering out from behind the black rims....Then again the polished with black letters would match the rim perfectly...I dunno im torn....

Mayb that would work.... The only thing is if i get anything in yellow it's gunna be a totally different color and it will stick out from the car unless i can somehow magically manage to find a hi temp paint that matches my car...

I think with your car a yellow w/black decals would look really good.

Collector Yellow (54U)- 2002 Trans Am CE
I did yellow on mine many years ago. Hot Rod Yellow to be exact. While it doesn't match Collector Yellow it helped that the black wheels would add a contrast that broke up the colors.
I too have been considering repainting them either back to Satin Black and Gloss Black like they were originally or going the route of Red and Gloss Black.
Take a look at a Yellow Z06 and what do you see. Yup, a Yellow car with Red calipers. Do they look good? Heck yes they do!
I actually think that Red Calipers can go with any color as Red it seems is common for High Performance types of calipers.
I will probably go about redoing my calipers sometime this summer. I'll have to sand off a lot of paint and then I want to smooth out the forge lines and add some Silver decals and hi temp Gloss over it all.
Whatever you decide, remember it can always be changed if you don't like it.2002 Trans Am Collector Edition WS6 ASC# 619
