help w/ halo!
I just installed the euro halo headlights and bumper lights on a 2000 camaro ss. Ran into a lot of trouble w/ the headlights.First off I do not know how to use the converter it came with. Its a little box which come from the headlights two red wires come out of for the halo ring on each headlight. I do not know where to hook those up to. And also the fitment issue. The oem headlights come off with one screw going into the bracket into the housing and i have an enormous gap on the bottom of the headlight. Its not butting up to the car, enormous gap.Is there a way to eliminate that. There is really nothin that i can adjust. some suggestions would be greatly appreciated. If someone has installed these and knows of these issues or did not have them I would really like to know.THe only thing I could think of is gettin a rubber strip for the bottom so a lot of water does not leak in and so you dont see the gap.But about the wires for the halo I have not a clue.I touched them to the positive battery terminal because their both red and no halo light.

Hey man, I think you should seriously just take a breath and relax cause you're stressing this way to much. The wires coming off the halo should get spliced into the foglight wires and it shouldn't matter which one is pos/neg. If you're really worried just do some trial and error, the worse that can happen is you blow a fuse. The gap you're talking about is very common, the best fix is to put some washers on the one bolt in the middle of bracket. If this is the worst of your problems, you're on easy street, trust me...

yah. i actually got some weatherstripping and filled the gaps w/ it so u really cant tell. And for the wires one has to be grounded and the other positive terminal.hehe

ya hook the red and black wires to the corner lights or the fog lights
(not the turn signal tho)
i put them on the corner lights, that way i can run just the halo's w/my corner lights on, and if i want the foglights on i can flip those on too

Take some pics. Sounds like it came out okay. I has similar issues with the gap, but I also did the washer-thing.
