I do.
Kooks longtubes.
When I was stock ride height I hit the SLP headers I had at the time all the time.
Not once hit the Kooks with the ProKit drop.

Definately nothing wrong with pacesetters. 90% of the people who don't have Kooks/QTP's have Pacesetters.

i mean i now pacesetters are good performance wise ...im basically just talking clearance wise...dont wanna scrap 'em up with the prokit drop... i know slps are the worst clearance ever in the history of ever and i would never buy them...looks like im torn between pacestter long-tubes and mac mids.... again clearance wise... if i can do the longtubes and not ruin them id like to go that way..lemme know

pewter- 2001 z28 lingenfelter 383
are pacesetters 1 5/8ths or 1 3/4ths???? i know kooks, qtp, dynatech are all 1 3/4ths with options to go ever bigger with kooks to 1 7/8ths......this is one reason to go with a more expensive stainless header if your making some good power.......at least so i think if paces are 1 5/8ths

Pacesetters.
Depending where you look, some sites rate them as 1 5/8" http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/camaro.htm and others list 1 3/4". Probably comes in both sizes, depending on what part # you order. I ordered the 1 3/4".
"Pace Setter
Pace Setter Headers
Starting with 3/8"-thick steel plate and 1-3/4"-diameter carbon steel alloy tubing, each header is precision-crafted to insure proper fit and seal. The mandrel-bent tubing insures maximum flow to the 3"-diameter collector and on into the mandrel-bent Y-pipe. These headers replace the stock cast iron exhaust manifolds and have provisions for all smog and engine management hook-ups. Each pair is available with the standard black paint and optional ARMOR*Coat, our polished metallic-ceramic finish. Includes fasteners and gaskets."

With my Pacesetters I can almost slide a beer can under the collector without it hitting. The Y pipe comes down just a bit lower so you should have no problems with Pacesetters and a drop.
