I'd like to put an LS1 in my 71 chevrolet truck. This project idea is very new to me so I am looking for some advice on what this would take. I would like to do a carb conversion to avoid all the fuel injection stuff. I have seen these two articles.

Looks like there's two methods. one being the edelbrock/msd combination the other putting a distributor on.

What do you all think is the easiest way to do this? What else will be involved?

I know very little about the LS1's and I hear this is the place to be so i appreciate any and all help.
