what does ws9 stand for
i looked on the inside of my door and it said ws9. it has chrome wheels, hurst m6, leather, monsoon speaker system.. traction control.. no ram air hood.. what exactly is different about the ws9 compared to a normal t/a

ummm...maybe the 6 got flipped upside down??
Not sure what the ws9 is, i'm sure someone else will chime in though

NBM- 2000 Trans Am
WS9 is the Firebird conversion to the Formula, basically the V8 conversion
I am looking for one of mine - R6J.........

A WS6 car will also have WS9.

WS9 is the regular trans am package. its the next model up beyond the base 'bird but below the WS6.

NBM- 2000 Trans Am
bww3588 - Y82 is the Trans Am base package, the TA will also have WS9 to upgrade to the Formula - which is/was the 'next' in the line
Katech - I did find a description but it was 'Control Sales Item No. 10'
Had two more decode like that - R7X(Item no. 48) and R9P(90) which turned out to be the 'Security Package incl. Theft Det. Syst. & Remote Keyless Entry' and 'Power Group: Power Antenna, Power Windows, Power Door Locks, Power Mirrors'

anybody have an honest answer of what that stands for?
