do i stand a chance?

My sisters bf has a totally stock 02 r6 bike and i have a 2000 t/a a4 with 3500 stall, 3.73's, crank pulley, alternator pulley, exhuast, inatake , and some free mods, do i stand any kind of chance of beating him or even being close to him or no and we are gunna go from a 45 roll... and if id loose besides nos what would it take to beat him???

Depends on if he can drive......but honestly that bike should go some mid to low 11s stock with a good driver......but id do it anyway....its all in good fun!

you stand to beat him from a dig. most can't launch their bike. from a roll even the worst rider should beat you.

so try to talk him into a dig, your stall should help you get out first and he'll have to pull you down. but stones right its all about having fun!

i ran a r1 friday from a 40 roll. i was at 70 before he caught me. it was a suprize to him he had to gear down thats why it took him so long to get me. but dude was cool and slowed down to give me a

Go for it! I was racing a couple crotch rockets down the interstate before giving them a run. I was doing between 100 and 140 for about 10 minutes and staying right with them. Im not sure what kind of bikes they were. Its all in good fun. at least they are more eager to race me than stangs. my plate scares them off (TRYME GT)

sounds like you wernt racing but just driving really fast on the interstate next to them

Driving as fast as we could next to eachother is pretty much racing. But i guess you call it "driving really fast". Its all good.

Why not? My favorite races ever were with bikes.

I was on my (at the time) 94 600f2 and raced two cars that werent street legal. No plates, slicks, but it was from a roll.

Something about being on a bike and outside the car...hearing the roar of the engine next to you, trying its hardest to beat you, but your lil whiny 4 cylinder just wont go down!

I have a 00 929RR now.

100-140 on a bike is not a big deal at all and in 10 mins you didnt break the 140 mark? sounds like you were just following a bike that was hauling ass

Ever been on I-79 in pittsburgh? there is alot of bends you cant go 140mph on hutch. (but im sure you know that). Why are ppl always acting like damn know-it-alls on this website?
