would u buy a car from a used car dealer?
yeah last car i bought from a USED car dealer, they had done something with the fuel pump cause a 3 days later i needed to replace it.(mechanic said it looked like it was fucked with) plus most of the time u call them to ask about a car and they answer the phone with a hello... hello? what the fuck is hello. then they are a dick, how teh fuck can i trust some fucker that keeps telling me to get to the point of the call in mid sentence. anyway i hate my last car i bought cause all kinds of shit was fuckedu p with it and that dealer was a piece of shit cause they said they would fix my window and when i brought it to them and picked it upthe fuckin thing broke again an hour later, the literally did SHIT. now im out looking for a trans am/formula.. and most of them are being sold by dealers. dunno if i want to buy from a used car dealer again. hate the fuckers =P

A private seller will rip you off just as bad as a dealership. It all depends on the people you are dealing with. But I kinda know what you are going through. Everytime I had a problem with my car and tried to talk to someone about it, they just would lie to me and say it was my fault. They told me my check engine light was on because I over reved the motor. I checked it out with a Tech-II and found the problem to be a bad cat. I think you should ask around and find out which dealers in your area can be trusted and sell quality cars and try to stick with them. Oh yeah, and anyone from Maryland should stay away from Jones Junction! They treat their customers like jerks.

what do you mean "used car dealer" you mean the used cars at a dealership, a nice place like Drivers way , or John J's used cars ..???

When I have the cash I'll buy from a certified used car dealer. Right now I'm hoping to sell this peice of shit and buy a truck that'll hopefullly last me through college, then I'll have money for a car that worth spending it on.

if you buy from just a used car lot ...most are bought at sales ad you will be lucky if you dont get a POS... Dealers a Certified used cars are the way to go ....

Yeah, its always worth it to get one of those, but they don't tell you everything, you can tell from looking in the engine compartment of my car that it was in a pretty bad front end hit (front of the wheel wells have been beaten back into shape, shits missing, shits bent, etc) but the carfax only showed where it switched owners and that the odometer rolled over.

Not true , it also tells you if it has been taken back in for service .... This WS6 I was looking at one time had 3 hits on it for electricl problems ...aka stay away ....

I wasn't saying it only reported those things, I was just saying that those were what came up on my cars carfax. I know it can show you lots of stuff, but to show up it has to have been reported.

rue , but it also tells you stuff without saying it ...like I was looking at another T/A it was a 99 and had already had 6 owners .......Hmmmm

if youre gonna get a used car, make sure you're mechanically inclined. but i would never buy from a buy here pay here place. i would go to the local "chevy" etc dealership or a single owner.
