EXHAUST QUESTION for WS6
I have a 2000 WS6 & was wondering if the high flow exhaust that comes with the WS6 is the same as the SLP loudmouth exhaust. If so, is it possible to only buy the loud mouth mufflers & bolt those up to the existing WS6 system, rather than buying the complete system from SLP? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

It is not.
The LS1 WS.6 isn't an SLP optioned car. It is done by ASC Global.
The Loudmouth doesn't have a muffler.
If you want to just add a muffler to your set-up I would recommend something like a Magnaflow.
I went with the Loudmouth when I first started modding my Trans Am. I regret doing that. I no longer have most of the stuff I purchased from SLP.

Loudmouth is a good system if your not planning any big mods down the road. ie. headers, cam, etc. With longtube headers and no cats it's too loud. With the stock manifolds/cats I think it rocks.

The Factory WS6 Exhaust is nothing more than a slightly less restrictive muffler and different tailpipes than the regular Trans Am/Formula exhaust.
Any aftermarket system will gain power.Craig

Well guys thanks for the great info.I guess I will explore the aftermarket exhaust route. I guess for right now I dont have any plans for headers or cams or anything too major just yet, BUT, I may want to next year, lol. So is the magnaflow better than the stock WS6 system I have on it now or is there another that is the systen of choice? I have a flowmaster on my Durango 5.7 Hemi & its awsome. But I'll trust your guys opinion.

I think SpinTechs kit offers the best sound quality. The Loadmouth resinates WAY too much for me.
That's my 2 centsDon't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
