I'm about 10 seconds away from writting my resignation to the boss @ my day job. Just wondering, can I delete the contents of mine, his, and all the other office computers without being penialized?

now that this is in written form, i guess i can't huh?

long story short; we're so broke that he is rushing me to shit out a design for a new consumer product package [the surround xi, i made a thread getting some feedback a while ago]. It may look done, but their are particulars that I just won't bore you with why the thing should be put on a stand still. Numero uno being that we need to do more RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT on the fucking pacakage; just b/c the client likes it, doesn't mean the general public will.

i hate this place. Mike, tell trivantis to make me a production manager over there.

Basically if all computers are on the same network and you have admin rights it can be done...

you don't know my office very well....lets look at the quality coworks i deal with daily:

alice: fat mother of 2 always sick, no degree in anything as far as i know. I think she calls printers for quotes...and posts on "womensday.com" forums.

eileen: secretary: old, crotchety woman, mumbles ALL THE TIME; she's in charge of answering the phones and types a lot of shit too. Never dresses acording to "guidlines" as she always wears plastic running suits

jean: one nazi of a financial and HR person; honestly the only one i respect, she could easily do the job of alice and eileen. Actually told our boss "i don't do enough work around here, so from now on, i'm taking off every friday and a pay cut"

ted: 88 year old man, honestly has no purpose of being here, he comes in, sleeps, farts, shits, coughs blood and leaves @ lunch.

dave: art director, a bit out of touch with current trends in design; comes with his age, so does his complete lack of computer knowledge "jaison, can you show me how to...."

steve: asshole, dumb fuck boss who has asked me how to copy and paste a fucking paragraph more times than i can count. He's so narrow minded about one client that he's alienated all of our others, drove our last 2 quarters into the dirt and now we have some potential to make money on some new clients, wants me to rush shit just to get it out the door. FUCK HIM

I would think that they have a right to all you create while working for them.

I am in Engineering and in the private industry they even want rights to inventions/ideas that you come up with while working 'under' them and will have you sign a contract to say they get it all....

Dude I really want you to work here. The only problem is that they probably wouldn't hire you as a project manager until your worked for awhile as a Graphic Designer. I don't that they would pay you what I believe that you are worth. Let me know if you want me to talk to Tom.

dude he can handle the stress its working with a mickey mouse organization that employees incompetent people. My company only hires the best and he would not only be a great attribute to my company but would learn a lot about the way things should be run by a serious organization.
