black chrome?

anybody know where i can find a place that will finish a set of wheels for me in black chrome?

Paint a set of polished wheels with a clear black (gloss) and they would appear polished black.

Thought about trying that on the spokes of my TTII's.

i think that the black chrome you want is powder coating. find a place locally that powder coats, they usually have samples of the colors.

Black paint is not black chrome. It is a powdercoat and really does look like a kind of black/reddish chrome. Not sure if you can get it actually chromed like that or if it is just the powder coat

Here is what our black chrome powder looks like that we use at my shop.

There is black chrome "dip" but I have no experience with it, nor do I know anyone that has it.

If I had the money right now I'd probably buy them. I think they would look pretty sharp on an F-Body

I Fought with that one myself when i decided on putting the 06 split spoke zo6 rims on my 35th anv ss but because of the red i went with the chrome instead of the black chrome and im still thinking about it today. That black chrome is some bad ass looking shit i actully tryed getting my tire guy to get the company he deals with to send him a display one that i was going to put on next to the chrome ones i had already bought to mybe switch up but the company said since it was such a new option they only black chromed if ordered. Now that was a year ago !May be ill hit him up again now thatyou guys jared my memories once again by just saying the words BLACK CHROME!!! LOL

Hey guys I just checked out those picts and honestly those picts dosnt do that black chrome justice. Do you see how the photo gives the slight apperance of brown. In real life there more like polised chrome thats been anodized with black
