since we will be the same old fools buying them i would guess the same cars we drive now.
So my bet is the 99 30th ta will be worth big $$$ in yr 2040.
The ones that buy the old muscle were the ones that were kids when they came out or had pme they had to sell back in the day and want it back again to relive their youth.

just as the market has done.. the older and rarer the car.. the higher the price.. im guessin in about 40 years our 4th gens will be about what the 1st gens are now.. maybe even higher because of the higher technology in our cars.. or lower because of the newer technology avaliable.. who knows..

I'd say my SOM vert SS would make a dollar in 25 years from now but who knows that 1 of 37 may not amount to anything then
2001 SOM SS Vert 1 of 37 verts with a 6 speed. Kook LT's with cats, fast 90mm ported intake, Nick Williams 90mm TB, AFR 205's and so on. Tuning/installs done by Williams Performance.

Callaway produced 508 twin turbo cars between 1986 and 1991. The twin turbo car could be ordered direct from the Chevrolet dealership by checking RPO B2K. The B2K option was an engine-option-only at a $33,000 adder with body, paint and suspension options being additional. The display car produces 403 hp and close to 600 lb ft of torque
WOW and now my LS2 makes that non-turbo ...... I would have thought cars like a Calloway would be collectible but at Jackson they guy didnt even get the original sticker ... Just goes to show a sure fire hit , is never a sure fire hit ...

86 monte ss aerocoupe, and the 86 pontiac 2+2 cars. both only 200 made. if you don't know what they are then that is why they will be worth it.
to bad my ss is an 87 aerocopue ss.i have alway wanted an 86 but for one really couldn't find it and for 2 the ones i found i couldn't afford.

mot always but if you never heard of a car and it was produced more then one wouldn't? you wonder i would.
why did i miss that car? i never heard of it.
i saw an 86 montess areocoupe on ebay with 120 plus k on it it in ok shape pull over 10 k. just imagine what an original with very low miles would pull?
to some people rare is more valuable.

let us say that in 1967 they only produced 20 Firebirds with their inline 6 singel overhead cam ... would that be worth more than the regular Firebird 400???

not to fight but just like anything else if some really wants that one cars item or what ever and they have the money for it they will get it. look at the airplane guy that put his own ac/ ac system in his car, soemone from barret jackson got it and it went for over 1 mil. because he did it his way. and he owned it. i forget his name. i aggree with you but you need to remember if some saw something at a young age that wanted something, or if they just have the money to spend on it, and want it, the price wil go up on anything. kind of supply and demand but with people that really have it to spend.

If you watched BJ on the off days like wed and thur ...Cars were not going for those insane prices like on Sat and Sun ... I think that just has alot to do with the bidding atmosphere more than the actual car ...

agreed it is really an ego thing but it is kinda of like ebay you will find "that" car and if you really want it and have it or in some caes don't really have it but you will get it because "you" are affaid it will never be here/there again.
money is the first factor in these auction, then it goes from there.
