I like the show as well but it seems that him as well as the other hosts and producers of the show have a big chip on their shoulders when it comes to American cars.

They're just still pissed off that we kicked their asses out of here several centuries ago. I've heard Clarkson utter "colonies" when referring the the USA several times.

Well, sorry to say so, but Clarkson is brilliantly funny again. And that poll in Vegas... (I know it's edited, but you still gotta have the answers to make it work)
And come on: Doesn't he pick on British cars just like he does on American ones? How they always brake down (wich they do)? On the other hand, didn't he praise the Ford GT as one of the greatest supercars?
It's just TV = it's just a joke.
I just love Top Gear, cause it's just funny.

Me too, otherwise I'd have a Toyota: Quality is magnificent, but who cares, they're just boring!!!

What good is muscle if it's constantly leaving you stranded on the roadside? I too would buy a Toyota muscle car if such a thing was ever developed at a reasonable price. (i.e. I don't care for the high payments or social stigma that plague owners of Lexus 400's. Not really a muscle car, but still a good performer.)

Well, there are no tight turns when you're on the autobahn going 140 mph...
But parking that thing in a european city is always a pain! No space!

He pointed out one of the things i hate most about some drivers in this country: "They're quite happy to plot along in the same lane, at the same median speed for mile after mile."
Some people need to be reedjumacated about which lane is which.
EDIT: And why would you need to know the capital of a country when you have Google???Last edited by NdrSiege; 01-18-2007 at 09:11 AM. Reason: Google > Snobby Brits

We have a saying here in Germany:
"Gott schütze uns vor Sturm und Wind, und Autos die aus England sind!"
May God protect us from storm and wind, and cars that are from Engelynd!"
(C'mon, in medieval poetry, that would pass as a rhyme...)
