new tires for my 10-spokes?

went and got my car a little check up. the guy said my tread is running low and I'll need some new tires soon. I have some 275/40ZR17s on it right now and I like the profile. any suggestions on what brand I should go with? I was looking at some BFGoodrich G-force T/A KDWS's. money is a bit tight and they are 175 bucks a tire at Costco with free install. and I have a coupon with $60 off the full set

Why go with the KDWS = all season.
If i understand correctly, you are in CA.
KD = king dry
KDW = king dry + wet
KDWS = king dry + wet + snow

There ain't much snow there... so go for a kdw

ya, true story. and I found out that the KDW's have a 183 MPH speed rating, while the KDWS have 168. I'd feel a bit safer with the KDW's. not like I'll be driving that fast, but hey, at least I know I could without blowing out a tire

the price difference is only 15 bucks, so I think I'll be going with the KDWs for sure.
