unknown switch
I am thinking about buying a 2002 ws6 6 speed with t-tops. I noticed that there is a red square button and a red switch next to the traction control switch. The red switch is a flat switch that you can flip, not like the gray traction control switch that is rectangular. It is in the area that the book says the convertible top switch should be, but this car has t-tops.
So any ideas what the two buttons might be? I was thinking maybe one could be the slp reverse switch, but I would think that is only for autos. The car does have slp decals on the outside.

Does the car have any mods? If there's any, even exhaust, I'd bet you're looking at a line-lock switch. Pop the hood and look for the brake control box to be mounted on the driver's fender. Not necessarily a reason not to get the car, just a reason to look at the condition on the rear tires before you agree on a number.

Or a nitros arming switch, or for some sort of aux lights.

Its not stock, I would take a look in and around the engine bay for any type of wiring that seems out of place. It could be anything from a afmkt fog light switch, spray button, cut out button. Just look over the vehicle and see, what happens when you press the button?

Quick Silver- 2002 Z06
Well I'll go with the route you should take. Just ask the guy selling the car.
If you tells you its a stock option he is lieing. I bet he will tell you exactly what it is though.
