I just ordered a wet kit

I just ordered a wet kit for $355 with shipping and tax from HSW. I cant wait to install it and get some numbers. I guess I will install it in the spare tire location. I would like to just mount it in the middle of the back seat, but I dont know if I would get into any trouble with the law.
Anyone know anything about it in SC?

I have my bottle mounted behind the passenger seat...no remote opener needed. I usually have it covered with one of those windshield sun-blocker thingys.

Just curious were do you put your vent tube if have it in the back seat? through the floor? I am going to be running a simular set up but going with spare tire location. because I was told i might have a hard time getting onto the drag strip with it in my back seat and just making it look cleaner inside.

I have mounted mine in the spare tire location. I fabbed up a bracket and mounted it there. I havent had a chance to hook up the kit yet. I was going to do it today, but i dont have any teflon paste, i picked up some before work.

I put mine in place of the spare tire. Finally got into the 11's with 125 HSW wet kit

I just installed a ZEX wet system in my 00 Z28 I had a speaker box I mounted it to in the back and ran the tube through the floor

Yes, vent tube is through the floor with a grommet. I don't have a back seat, so no worries there... Spare-tire location is still inside the car, so no difference going through tech at our local strip.
