How to get dent out of fender?
Hey guys,
My brother's '04 GTO was hit the other day by someone parking next to him. Looks like they rubbed a tire up against the fender and a bit on the door on the passenger side. They drove off though, no note, or anything.
Most of the damage is can be buffed or rubbed out (rubber marks, light scratching). They did push in the Fender a bit right where the GTO badge is.
I'd like to try and get my hand back there to try and pop out the fender myself - before paying to get it done. Is the inner wheel well liner hard to remove? I just need to get my hand back there to pop it out.
I looked real quick w/ out taking the wheel off, and I didn't see any of those plastic rivet (xmas tree looking things) that usually hold the liner in. Any tips?
Dan
Sorry - no pics as of yet, he lives about an hour away.

Every time I try and fix any body damage I end up making it worse than it was before. I've learned my lesson
Body shop probably would not be all that expensive and get it done right...or try and push it out.....I would just get it fixed right...

I agree with ya Sarge, but it isn't my car or money...
I'll see if I feel comfortable enough to push it out myself, and if it comes out well, I'll post some pics

There should be a company somewhere near you that that is all they do at the dealerships...... We have many out here called....DentBusters,DentMasters, and DentSolvers.
I,ve seen lot's people do more damage trying to solve the problem theirselves. Leave it to a pro I just had 4 different ones done all around the car for $300. Can't even tell where they were.Don't be afraid of the bottle!!! Be afraid of your tune!!!
