sfc install question

sorry if this is a sticky but, i bought the connectors and need to know the best way to weld them in,

i mean how should i lift the car isn't there a certain way? the instructions aren,t all that great, shouldn't the suspenion be loaded or something

A drive on lift is best. I'd take it to a decent shop to have it done right.

i can weld and would rather save the money, so i was just looking to see how people do it in the ol' garage

You really should have the car up on a lift, SFCs is probably the most important suspension mod you do to the car and if done wrongly, you can put stress on the chassis and cause a lot of unwanted problems down the road. I am by no means questioning your ability to weld, my dad is a welder himself, but to be done correctly I strongly suggest a drive on lift.

so does that need to be a roll on lift(weight on suspension?) or will a 4 point due just fine? i have access to both and will be doing STB LCA SFC all at once or one at a time depends of if i can sell my SS Impala fast enough.
