Yep. I did.
In fact, from what I remember reading in the past, it's preferred to use the stock ones.2002 Trans Am 6sp, SLP lid, Holley filter, Shaner S3 TB, Jet Hot long tubes and cats, FRA, HP tuners, Hotchkis STB and LCAs. TEA stage 1.5 5.3 heads, Comp 220/224 114 +2, UMI Boxed SFCs, Edelbrock PHR. Moser 9" 4.11 gears.

I dunno if it'd help out with the install, but studs would be able to take more torque when you tighten everything up. Not that it'd matter, apparently... just my suggestion for anything aluminum.

Great, i'll probably just use the stock ones. Thats what the people I bought them off of told me I could do. The headers have the AIR and EGR fittings on them..Can i run true duals with those fittings. I'll be removing my cats so i won't have any o2 sensors..

I just installed Mac L/t's on my 00SS and reused the stock manifold bolts. No problems as of yet with them. The Mac's went on easy and sound great through a ORY pipe and flowmaster catback.
