I am thinking of replacing my LS6 intake. Is there any disadvantage runinnig an aluminum Intake over the LS6? And which is better? Do they flow better or should i just stick with the LS6.

The LS6 intake manifold is pretty good. the FAST intake manifold flows a little better but its expensive which could be seen as a disadvantage. if you plan on doing a H/C set up then go with the FAST but itll cost u a pretty penny.

^^^^ i agree. The fast is the best but costs a lot.
Don't get an aluminum one as it will make you loose performance. When you drive the aluminum heats up to very high temperatures and produces a lot of heat. And a really hot engine is the enemy of performance.
So either stick with the LS6 or go fast if u got cash to blow.
