Black- 2005 SRT-4
Another Neon owner!
*flame suit on*
It looks like most of you are cool with SRT-4's. I'm not the typical pimple-faced momma's boy with a Neon.I actually paid/pay for mine and....it doesn't have an aftermarket BOV! I know, I know...when you've picked yourself up from fainting, I will continue....
...ok? Ok. Back before I purchased my Skittle, I considered a nice 98 SS. Great price, good year inbetween all the various issues (valves, tranny, etc.). I was heavy into the LS1 forum thing for a while. BUT..it didn't end up working out. I decided I wanted a four door car...I liked the flexibility of a factory turboed engine...and the SRT-4's are just built (Dodge?) tough. The price was also right, so here I am.
I still love these cars and enjoy reading up on them so I figured I'd register here and take a look around every once in a while.

I dont blame you on the 4door thing, next spring ill be getting my Evolution IX and a big part is the 4 door thing compared to the camaro...also trunk space, and AWD helps out too. Welcome to the site.

Come to Oz. 4 door LS1/LS2's galore. Best of both worlds, a 'practical' toy.
One in my driveway...

Black- 2005 SRT-4
Appreciate the warm reception.
The truth is, the SRT-4 simply fits my lifestyle right now, and what I want..right now. BUT, I planned it as such so I can live vicariously through my car buddies...many of which own IROC's and LS1's. When I feel like getting some V8 powa, I just steal their car for a weekend.
Like most people, I'm sure, I'm really not into the whole monthly car payment thing. I wanted to get a car that had potential for both power...and for me to grow into. The four doors are nice for carting around friends now...but in 3-5 years if I were to get married, or heaven forbid have kids, I wouldn't have to sell the car. It let's me keep my options open. That...and I genuinely love the looks of it (with a bit of modification)...and I also LOVE the sound of it. There isn't another four banger out there that sounds meaner, in my opinion.
Anywho, thanks again folks. It's pretty impressive to see V8 owners giving respect to anything else. I'm so used to being ignored, shunned or made fun of, haha.
