Wow....very small. I like being able to pick my songs so I would suggest a ipod mini, nano or a psp so then you can also play games and videos. I also like just plugging my into the wall and not the computer. Lastly, the ability to not have to run your mp3s through itunes....just moving a file to a folder.

I bought a wall adapter for my Mini. I wouldn't get the shuffle because you cant choose the individual songs while your listening to it. It's random playback right...

random or ordered, you can transfer a playlist onto it, i meaan comparing it to a cd player, you cant see the track name anyways

and thats what i'm replacing, because my cd player kills batteries and it shuts off by its self, and its huge

Those suck ass...there's no display and half the time you can't even find what you want to hear. Check out sonys mp3's...they have 1 gb, fm tuner and 3 lines of display...along with kick ass software. I've had mine for over a year and love it...and it's small. If you forget to charge it there's a quick charge feature....3 minute charge =3 hours playback
