I hope he was thinking of an Evo and not a ralli-fart!

drivers race from a dig, with good driving a stock evo IX will run 12.9s, the Ls1s run about the same with good driving.
As far as handling I would pick the Evo, although I have seen some sick handling F-body cars on coil overs when I did autoX

The New IX Evolutions have been known to run high 12's from the factory...but that is also taking a risk of destroying the AWD system as well as your warranty. All depends on what you plan on doing with the car.
Myself ill be buying a IX in the summer of 07 because im sick of not having any trunk space, small back seats, and the 10 year 100k warranty Mitsu has on their cars isnt bad either...as long as you dont launch.

I kinda agree with that. There is no trunck space in the camaro. Thats the only thing I missed about my honda. In a camaro everyone can see what you have in your car and that back window is expensive to replace cause some asshole likes your stuff.

There's lots of trunk space that's one of the reasons why I got a T/A and not a Vette. Wait a minute I do have a Vette. I mean a daily driver Vette.
