Meguiars Gold Class + Meguiars Detail Spray
Got her cleaned up and a couple good coats of wax for the first time since I bought this one 2 or 3 weeks ago. Used the Meguiars and will be switching to Zaino within a month or so. Ignore the stock wheels, they'll be off by spring.

looks good, i used gold class on my trans am and it gave it a greasy look. i then got recommended by a top of the line corvette restoration place to use 3m perfect it (not available at stores) and it is amazing. Zaino is good too

Those of you that have used Gold Class, have you also used NXT? How does it compare? I've thought about trying it out, but Gold Class has always worked so well on my cars, I figure why mess with it....but I have to wonder what I'm missing out on.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
I use the basic Meguairs stuff.
The clear coat scrub is simply awesome. Then polish and wax.
Zaino is badass, but you need to cover it with a good wax. Otherwise it doesn't last long.
Zaino's wax just doesn't hold up as well as others.
Use Zaino to get the shine, use Meguiars wax to protect the shine.

Sebring Silver- 1998 Camaro SS
I bought into the Zaino craze and it does shine well but I found it doesn't last long or protect against bug splats and stuff very well. Used it on my black Ram and it spotted like a beotch. Now I use it for the shine and slickness and cover it with NXT. Also just bought some Nano wax to try. Looks sweet on my silver 98 SS.

RejeX is supposed to be great for length and durability as a wax.
My roommate swears by it.
Gonna try it on the daily driver soon...once the Meguiars starts to wear off.
He doesn't use much else other than the RejeX on his '02 Z06.

I will be trying that on the Trans Am as well for the rear fenders where I catch rubber from warming the tires.

Spice Red- 06 GTO
I think Zaino is the ticket. I just took pictures of my GTO, a couple coats of Z2/Z5 and Z6 detail spray.
http://home.cfl.rr.com/toms2006gto/zaino/GTO_Zaino.zip
I've seen other posts...
Wax over Zaino? Hmmm. Sounds like it might not shine as well, burring the optical clarity.
Z doesn't last long? Last real good for me. Z7 wash has polish in it. Even if you polish once a month, it's on and off so easily, no problem. No buffing necessary.
Does Meguires go on and off as easily?
3M Perfect It... I've used their swirl mark remover. Works good. I think one of the auto stores carries / can order it. Or you can order at 3M.com.
One of the things I really like about Zaino is it washes so easily. Bug guts, road tar, dirt just comes off so easily. I can wash and dry the car in about 20-30 minutes.
The other thing I like is the detail spray (Z6) smells so good. OK, stupid reason to buy car polish, but it's a plus.Tom 06 GTO

Yeah, meguires goes on and comes off very easy, and it lasts an acceptable amount of time for as much as I wash my car. I'm not sure if these bastards are everywhere, but down here in So. Louisiana, we get the dreaded "Love Bugs" twice a year -- and the only thing they really "love" is to commit suicide on the front of everyone's cars. But I can honestly say that when I wash the T/A, they wash right off because of the meguires.

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
Tom 06 GTO...I am not trying to take anything from Zaino. Great products for sure.
Just saying I think other products have slightly better durability. Which only becomes a problem when you aren't using the product once a month. Like on my daily driver.
Gets wax twice a year...before winter and right after winter.
Anyone tried RejeX?? Roommate swears by it. And he has proven it is durable. Put it on my girls Vibe, and it still beads very well after 6 months.

Spice Red- 06 GTO
Ditto here on both counts. Love bug season here in Florida, too. And they come right off with Zaino, too.
Glad to hear that Meguires comes off easily, too. I've tried other products, not that one though. I hate that white stuff that doesn't come off easily and I'll still digging it out of cracks and creases in the body even weeks later.
