Medium Quasar Blue- 1996 Camaro Z28
She didn't sell
Well, mainly due to the passlock system failing as soon as I had listed it, my Z is still with me. I didn't really want to sell it anyways but could have used the extra money. Now I'm thinking of just building the piss out of it. My dilemma is this........I also have a Saturn Ion Redline which I can get to turn mid 13's for under a grand with GM's stage kits while retaining daily driveablility or I can mod the camaro and leave the redline stock. I know mid 13's isn't really fast but remember, it's a domestic 4 banger so you can't expect too much. Ah, decisions decisions........I think I know what most of you will tell me to do
but go ahead and shoot an opinion if you feel like it.

I say. mod the Camaro and leave the Saturn stock. You'll get more bang for your buck and look cooler doing so.

Build the LT1 to a point where ya wouldnt wanna drive it every day.. drive the Saturn daily.... When someone has jokes, go get the LT1 and have yourself a laugh!

dude do the camaro... i think most of us gear heads have to hold our selves back when it comes to daily drivers... i mean my monte ss... could always go get a blower off a gtp, port it... pulley it... throw full exhaust on it... tune it... and smack some nice rims on it it...
BUT... i could also use the money on the vette... it is your daily driver... just let it be... there have been several times some jack ass in a gt stang will pull up and act like he is big papa next to the monte, there is a simple solution to that... roll down your window and tell him you will put money on a race if he waits 10 minutes for you to get your other car... problem solved...
oh and things that make power... break parts... and you dont want your daily breaking parts...

Very good points. My only problem is trying to keep the camaro street legal here in the People's Republic of Kalifornia. Damn smog laws prevent us from making serious power. Oh well, guess we'll see what I can do.

Well, the CARB laws deal mainly with what they can see (bolt-ons) and emissions (IIRC). Don't pull the cats, put an idiot exhaust on it, or non-CARB bolt-ons. Build the internals intelligently, perhaps nitrous it, and have fun. If nitrous is not kosher to CARB, pull it off when inspection time comes.
