    Holy shit!..... That is scary..

Funny I was raised around guns my whole life even own a few, shot my first .22 cal rifle at 6yrs old. I never played with real guns! Never! I was taught from a very young age that they are not toys! My parents wouldn't even allow me to point plastic guns or cap guns at someone else. I just don understand why kids will do that shit.?????

Ok... Everything was going well with that little demonstration until he pulled a fucking SHOTGUN out of his jeans. Yea... Right. I'm sure you could conceal a shotgun in your jeans then be able to walk normally. Right.

Regardless, yes... I have a right to bear arms. That's a right I refuse to give up. But with that, I also have the responsibility of keeping guns away from my kids and educate my kids on them.

Kinda like a car. I am not going to just toss the keys once a certain age is reached. Drivers Ed and a ton of instructional time will be done before it's drive time.

I'm the only one in this room that I know of professional enough to carry this Glock .40... BLAM!!!!

I've seen that vid before... But it never gets old. The guy was a moron. Why even dry-fire the gun in a classroom environment? :boggled: I will say, though... He held his composure pretty well considering he shot himself in the foot.

to protect and serve. if a cop can't seem to get it right, we're all screwed...

STEP #1) clear the clip and clear the chamber.
STEP #2) never dry fire. period.

Probably just left one in the chamber. Glocks have their safety on the trigger, basically you pull the trigger it goes boom. You also need to pull the trigger to disassemble the gun, so that might've been what he wanted to do. Go ahead and dry fire, but keep it pointed in a safe direction while you do so.

I didn't think about the fact that you have to dry-fire a Glock to disassemble it. Really stupid considering I have one.

But yes, poiinting it in a safe direction would have been the better move. Or maybe bringing in a gun already disassembled for classroom purposes.
