    Mexican killed my car

I'm thinking of selling the vette

For the past couple months i've really been thinking of selling my vette and getting an 86 or 87 t-type. I miss having a turbo buick around since i sold my Grand National. Plus the vette isn't really daily-driver friendly. It has a cam (it's got a fordged 383 in it) and the auto trans has a manual valve body in it so you have to shift it like a clutchless stick which get's old.

But at the same time i don't want to get a t-type until i find a good job that i can afford to get stupid and build it and i would have to buy a beater car to drive to work while i hunted one down. Plus, the vette get's alot of friendly attention wherever i go. The GN got it to but mostly from morons that would say "Nice Monte!" or "My cousin's daughter's newphew's wife's brother had one of those, those things are fast with that v8 in them, he said i couldn't grab a hundred dollar bill off the dash when he floored it and i couldn't grab it!"

Maybe one day i'll grow out of this shit and be able to drive an old minivan...but i have a feeling i won't.

Well yeah I would get the t-type, but I guess there's no way you can keep the vette also huh? I know what you mean about the shifting for a daily driver with traffic it sucks That's why my gt is auto. Overall I would rather have a fully built custom Turbo buick over the vette because There almost untouchable, and a lot more rare, it's a tough decision, that's why I'm keeping my stang to daily
drive and getting a national soon because there probably going to start going up in value soon. BTW I've heard the hundred dollar bill story from my cousin lol

I was gonna say keep the 'Vette because the interiors on those old Buicks are such crap but then I noticed that you drive a C4 'Vette and not a C5. The C4 ain't any better than the Buick. Get a Buick.

well if you're wondering what to do, it looks to me like you answered your own question:
"...i don't want to get a t-type until i find a good job that i can afford to get stupid and build it and i would have to buy a beater car to drive to work while i hunted one down."
so why would you sell the vette now then?

well, if you are buying a car to please the people you come in contact with, then stick with a vette. its been my experience that only car savvy people know what a t-type is. i'd go with a t-type, but it sounds like you want to impress, so maybe run with the vette, or a vette.

No, i haven't thought about that. I'd probably just throw it on ebay with a high reserve and see what the bidding goes to.
