Window motor replaced - thanks to Jeb99TA
I replaced my DS motor today and discovered why my wcustom window tint had a little hole in it near the top of the window. One of the guid brackets on top of the door just broke in half leaving two "fangs" of raw metal ready to ruin any thing that comes in contact with them.
While I had things apart I decided to do something I have been thinking about for a long time so I painted the switch housings on both doors, the R and L AC duct surrounds and the center trim around the radio and HVAC controls. I had a can of touch up paint from doing some work on my BMW so I used that. It's called Aspen Silver - not a bright silver, it's dark with almost a purple tint to it. It looks really good - subtle contrast, not gawdy and in your face. I think I'm going to do the black plastic rocker panel trim as well. When I'm all done, I'll post some pics.

Almost $10.00 a piece for a piece of stamped steel with a fuzzy thing on it the size of a silver dollar. No wonder GM is hurting!
