Silver- Mexican killed my car
Corvette recall
I was reading yesterday's newspaper at work and saw that they are calling back the c6's because the roofs keep flying off while going down the road. They said it has happened 21 times but no one has been hurt yet. Ouch.

There was a giant thread about this on the Corvette Forum. A guy who bought a Z06 had his roof fly off within 500 miles after he bought it.

Yea that is why I never wanted a ZO6. Maybe finally for the C6 ZO6, they are making the removable top!!!! But back to the recall, that is no good, that would suck to have the roof fly off

I wonder what speed is required to make that happen.

My fucking top creaks and groans if its been sitting in the sun for a while. lol. that would piss me off. I got a recall letter in the mail saying I should come in to get it fixed.
happened on my formula before, my aunt kept looking up and I thought she was looking at a bird or something. then FWOOSH. I was like "wtf?!?!?!" she had operated the latch to see what it would do. I saw it land in the median in my rear view mirror. I just picked it up and popped it back on.
she thought it was a swing out hand hold. LOL a stowable hand hold.
