    Are they fake?

I was carousing thru eBay and noticed something odd about their listings of '98-'02 T/A's. Damn near every one is listed as a WS6. I could only find one single listing for a regular one (like mine). I do see some that have their cars listed as simply "Ram Air" so I assume that meant they are aftermarket hoods too, but what do I know?

Did they sell a lot more WS6's in this era than standard T/A's - or is everyone selling their cars as WS6 when it has an aftermarket hood....hmmm...Any ideas?

There were plenty of WS.6's made.

Gotta check the RPO to be sure though.

Yup Yup, I actually was looking into a fake WS6 (didn't know it at the time) before I bought my current car. Some people will try to push it off as real simply because they pull more money. Cheaters suck....

No need to cheat...I know for a fact that at least in 2002 there were more WS6 Ram Air Firebirds than any other Firebird...that is more than half of all 2002's were WS6's!

True, but when buying a car, the buyer has to be smart, gotta check out the VIN. If you get suckered by a cheating asshole, you really have no one to blame but yourself. Just be smart.

before you buy, ask for a picture of the RPO codes on the driver's door. (you're looking for the code WS6) The VIN# is also on that sticker. If the VIN#'s on the windshield and door match and you can be pretty sure it's real.
