Just Checking In
Hi all....Just found this site today. Looks like some good info to be had here.
I bought a new 2005 GTO little over a year ago.
Have been well satisfied with the car in spite of having the differential replaced at approx 4900 miles.

The differential started "whining" from about 50 mph up. Many many 04/05 GTO's had the same problem. Seems Dana was a bit careless in the set-up of pinion, pinion bearings or whatever...can't get a definitive answer. Originally Posted by 97PredatorTA
