Nfl Draft
Did anyone watch the NFL draft.........how did your team do? Did they get the man you wanted? Who was the big winners in the draft and who did not draft well at all? I know this thread is a week or two overdue but I thought the football fans might enjoy it.

I watched a little of it... I was amazed that Leinart dropped to 10th, the Cards did VERY well in the draft to get him at that late a position. From what I've read at SI.com, he should do very well being tutored by a very unselfish Kurt Warner, and will have two great WR's to throw to, plus Edgerrin James as the starting RB. Look out for Arizona next year. Since Warner has been brittle and not played a full season for a long time, look for Leinart to get his feet wet at some point in the year.
New Orleans got the gem of the draft in Reggie Bush. I predict he will be a real impact player his first year. I think Texas will rue the day they did not pick No. 5 from USC.
The jury is out on my Chargers. They drafted a DB that did not play at all due to serious knee injuries and a QB with impressive physical traits but known to have questionable decision-making ablilites. All-in-all,

I could not believe Leinhart went so late either. I think the Titans made out. I am not a Vince Young fan, but that doesn't mean he isn't a good Quarterback. Plus they got Lendell White. Bushes back up at USC. I think White will be a bigger Stud than Bush. And I agree the Texans really blew it this year. I know they had presigning problems with Bush, but they pass on White also? Or even one of the other two Stud Quarterbacks? I think Carr is done. Texans are in for another long season. And I don't think I will even mention my Bears.

I'm a browns fan, and I guess they did ok. Would have liked to see Holmes or Carpenter from Ohio State go there but O well. I hope AJ Hawk plays well in Green Bay.

I think LenDale will be fine and he will turn out to be the steal of the draft, he should fit well in their "pound the ball scheme" which Eddie George did so well at.......I don't know if I would have taken that DB from FSU who hasn't played in a year.....all based on his forty time if you ask me. The Bears needed some offensive help and didn't get much...........Atleast the Browns did well in free agency, but I don't like the trade they did with the Niners to give up a very good backup in Dilfer for basically a second round pick????

I like the fact that the Lions finally went with defense, but they didn't draft any big names or anything.........I guess like all the rest of them we will see in four or five years. I think that the Titans had the best draft personally
