    quatermile run

    i have looked everywhere and cannot find what a stock 1998 trans am convertible runs stock in the quatermile, also modified with long tube headers tune and full exhaust and of course lid.Thank you.

    Usually we run in the mid 13''s. That also means a decent driver, street tires and good reaction times.

    With slicks or DR's you may be able to crack into the 12's.

    Air density also plays into this too. Higher elevations and higher temps will effect engine performance.

    Auto will get down the track a bit quicker than stick usually as it is tough to find the sweet spot on street tires. With a lid and a catback our '02 auto went a best of 13.4 on its first outing.

    my best on street tires was 11.6 but I'm far from stock....
