what happened tp the 4th gen stuff the real ls1 site? I seldom need help.

I can fix the car, I have never seen universals pinned with hot glue. lol
Just wanted to make sure I wasn't in the market for drive shaft.
this is a 2002 SS fbody
I changed em in my 1999 Z/28, no glue. it was off the dealer floor, go figure

Yes, they injection mold a plastic retainer ring into the u-joint caps. With pressure they snap pretty easily and I have never had an issue changing them. Just be sure not to collapse the yoke if you do press them out.

you could also torch them and melt the plastic.
