Need Help! - 2004 6.0 into a 2001 truck

Hi,

I have a 2001 GMC Sierra 1500HD with the 6.0litre engine. Im looking at putting a motor in it out of a 2004 2500 that has the 6.0litre. The only thing I can tell is different is that the 2004 has the drive by wire, so the throttle body has a plug...not cables for butterfly in the throttle body.

Can I just swap my throttle body and bolt it to the 2004 intake? Or will I need to swap the entire intake?
Will the wiring harness from the 2001 be plug and play on the 2004 engine?...like the fuel injection plugs, etc.
Is there anything I need to watch out for?

Swapping the intakes is the best way to ensure everything will work.
The other two things to think about is knock sensors and crank sensors. Certain years there are changes to those things. I don't have time to google it but that info is out there if u have time to research it.
