KITT dash

[spyhunt3r]

Ok, probably not the best place to ask this, but the makers of knight rider dashes are telling me it's not possible to install it in a 4th gen, but I would just like some recommendations.

I mean there are people customizing their 3rd gens with the 4th gen dash, so going the reverse direction shouldn't be that much of a stretch... Is it the guts of the dash that are the problem, or are all of the inards of the dash attached to the dash itself.

It seems like with the KITT dash, it's a shell that just fits over the 3rd gen dash, so if the 3rd gen is installed, should be doable...

Any customizers that anybody can recommend for this type of thing that hopefully will not break the bank...

to be fair but can't the company explain it better why it won't fit?

I'd like to see someone fit the dual-screen housing to a fourth gen dash. Or maybe a housing for a tablet so it can be a monitor, HVAC/radio touchscreen.

That would be nice to have however the electronics to help power it would add weight that most track car guys scream about.
