Aftermarket Name Brand Rotors
Tired of hearing that annoying noise every time I am close to stopping, pulling out, reversing, taking off ext. Part of my critical thinking skills tell me; I need aftermarket rotors or pads maybe both. I have come to the conclusion that the OEM rotors are having a bit of trouble with by new engine, mods, ext. What name brands will anyone recommend?

Yes, R1 Concepts. Great rotors at a very affordable price.

I'm hearing a lot of love for R1Concepts. Do they squeal at all? Because my current ones squeal loud like crazy. My braking currently is awful too, and it takes a lot of effort to get the car to stop.

Sounds like you need new break pads fist of all. If your car is not stopping and making a squeal sound. You have worn break pads. That can ruin your rotors if not replaced soon. Replacing your OEM break pads or rotors will eliminate the issue but will still be limited. Now (swapping) your OEM parts with aftermarket ones is always a gainer. I would recommend slotted aftermarket R1's to stop faster, smoother, and quieter. OEM rotors will limit your stopping and complain with an eek sound every time your breaks are applied. The eek sound does not mean they are worn simply means they are limited to perform. If you like to race you would really consider the up grade. I don't think anyone with a head on their shoulders will like driving how they want to with out being able to stop how they want to.

I got them checked out a few months ago, and brake masters said I was still at like 80 percent. The pads and rotors are only 2 years old, if I can recall correctly.
The rotors are aftermarket. Drilled and slotted. I made a pretty bad decision obviously

I bought R1concepts rotors with HP+ brake pads. I would suggest them to everyone.

I ran into that issue before as well when installing some OEM rotors/pads. After using silicon in the appropriate places, they were noise free.

I have never had noise issues after installing rotors and pads. Then again I grease the pins and a few other things prior. My suggestion to the OP would be what has already been stated, grease the pins and use some caliper grease on the pad clips and on anything else that can rattle around.

I'm all about making money..... but HONEST money.
With that said, It sounds like you have a glazed rotor. The Squealing is from pad to caliper piston vibration with emits that loud screech. My advice is clean the rotor and pads from old debri and apply some disc brake quiet to your pads and you should be good to go in terms of Squeal. Also, I can safely assume you may be running ceramic pads..... am I right?
Ceramic pads are terrible for stopping power. Only great for low dust wheels/show cars.
However, with a glazed rotor, the only thing you can do is to have more mileage on the rotor without applying a insanely amount of brake pressure. If all else fails, you can PM ME and I'll get you squared away with a rotor and pad package.
