Bottom Door Seal Location?
Does anyone have a picture of where the lower door seal position is?
I just got a '02 WS6 coupe and neither door has it on there. I remember that my old '98 TA and my '01 had them (I had to reglue one of them back on that I recall) but after so many years, I can't remember how they went on.
GM factory diagrams are real vague and are of no help. I was hoping someone would have a picture of one installed on the bottom of the door.
Thanks, Steven

There is no seal, but I'll go take a picture of mine and post it.

Thank you for your time and picture. Your door looks just like mine does. I could have sworn there was a sealing strip down there.
I found this diagram, Part#2. But hey, if there is nothing there.............I'm not going to worry about it. I appreciate your help
Thanks again.2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6

I would have to drag out my books to see what they say. Certainly nothing resembling #2 on our car.

There's a seal that goes there. I know I've bought 2. It reduces road noise, wouldn't stop water if you made a mistake and thought your car was a boat.
I think I got mine at WS6 store or gmpartsdirect.

UPDATE:
Just for the heck of it I looked in my 2001 Service manual, book 3. I found these installation instructions for the door seal.
Now I can see exactly where it goes. Thanks to everyone for the help, I guess I should have looked in the manual in the first place.
I thought that I was hearing more road/wind noise from the door than I should have. Oh well, another item to add to my growing list!

The current seals come with a sticky side. Clean the door with rubbing alcohol very well. Mine came off a couple of times so I took a little "seal glue" and lightly coat the sticky side and pressed into place.

Same pic on page 8-873 of my service manual. Go figure...
