IM gonna make it short and sweet. A firehawk or hawk as most ppl like to call them is basically a beefed up version of the trans am WS6. Better shocks, exhaust, etc....

its an ss trans am... built by slp... and if an ss is an over priced camaro then he's right... they have more subtle hood (still ram air), different wheels, come in trans am or formula styles (in ls1 times), can apprear with slp wing on t/a versions... same basic options as an SS camaro..
they started building them in 91 (i beleive) they were bad ASS. 383 (i wanna say im right on this) m6... bad ass cars... they still made them for lt1 style ( all formys i think)... released some with lt4's (29 i think)... in my opinion an lt4 firehawk might just be the baddest factory sleeper of all times...

My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
predator, stick to vettes, dude. An SS trans am is a ws.6
a firehawk is a ws.6 trans am with some extra options from SLP company. It came with even better suspension than the ws.6, better exhaust, rated @ 345 hp instead of 325, the hoods and rims are the most identifiable aspect of them. Firehawks have a more subtle ram air scoops as well as functional heat-extractors on the rear of the hood. The thin-spoke 17" chrome rims were capped with a unique firehawk center-cap [looks like a metal bird in flight]

hmmm built by SLP... could get and auburn rear end... different hood, wheels, and wing... optional suspension and exhaust upgrade... numbered... WU8 for an ss WU6 for a fire hawk... sounds like an SS trans am to me...
fire bird = camaro
formy = z28 (available in stripper models)
trans am = not really anything
ws6 = well since t/a doesnt go with anything an options t/a wont either
firehawk = SS

WTF... not all fire hawks are optioned out....
and you cant compare a t/a and a z28...
z... you could get a hard top... cloth... roll up windows... blah blah blah
trans ams were all t tops.. (rumor that maybe like 2 hard tops exist)... all leather... gfx... 17 inch wheels... a z is not ont he same lvl as a t/a...
and all 97 to 2002 ss's are slp.... i woudl almost agree with you if we were talking lt1 ws6's since slp made them...
and ws6's never came with slp exhaust or were factory numbered... and they were made by... ASC (i think ill find out) NOT SLP!!!

Black- 1997 Firehawk LT4
I like to describe the Hawks as the Firebird's version of the Saleen Mustang.
Oh...and SLP didn't build all the SS's. There...now you've heard it twice. Early on they did, but for the later ones SLP only installed some of the options. Hurst, for example, center exit exhaust, etc. A base SS was all GM.
So...other than overpriced, where does my LT4 fit into your little chart?PS-I got mine for $5,500 under sticker.

Has anyone ever seen a Firehawk/Blackhawk 430? When I was shopping for my ws6, I came across this car that a guy who ran a Ford dealership that I think he owned. Me and a friend saw it in the back, so we went in to inquire about it. Guy was real cool, he also said it was not for sale and said it came from the factory the way it sat. We asked what the 430 meant and he said horsepower. Anyway it said it on the door the same way it would say firebird or transam. Not sure of the year but it was at least a 98 or up. Has anyone ever seen this or was this some sh*t the guy had made up? He might still work there and maybe I can get some pics of the car.
