    Baseball Freaks in here please.

I don't know much about Baseball, but I got an Autographed 25 X 15 picture from Nolan Ryan. I did a little research about him and he played for Mets as a rookie and then for Rangers.

    Here are the pics.

Anyone know how much this is worth? I tried ebay, but can't find anything similar.

A couple hundred bucks isn't much.........Now if you had his rookie card or something authenticated w/ an autograph, then you might be in the money a little. True, he had a nice career, but never won a series, I don't think any MVP's, and I don't even think any Cy Youngs. I could be wrong on the last one though.

Nolan Ryan was one of the most intimdating pitchers who ever pitched in the bigs.

Don't believe me? Just ask hall of fame 3rd baseman for the Phillies Mike Schmidt.
"There is no at-bat like a Nolan Ryan at-bat."

His fastball was awesome. Don't forget he pitched for the Angels for 9 seasons. His total for career strikeouts may still be tops (5714).

All told he pitched for four team, including the Mets and the Astros as well.

That's all fine and dandy, but it doesn't make his signature anymore expensive. I think his BIGGEST accomplishment was being able to chuck heat for 27 years. And I think his last year or two he beat the snot out of Robin Ventura.

He got a ring with the "Amazing" 1969 Mets.

I wasn't saying that it was gonna make his sig more valuable.

I'm just chiming in as one of his fans. When he was on, he was smokin.
Seven no-hitters! The only pitcher I remember as being as dominant, at least the pitchers I grew up watching was Sandy Koufax. I have an old mitt that he signed when he was a 2nd year player for the Dodgers, but it's faded so bad you can't even see it.
