vibration in transmission while in park?
O'k so I have a 1999 camaro z28 auto trans that I just picked up an there's a few issues I'm trying to figure out.
1st. I get this thud sound from the center console area every so often, usually when taking off. (I searched an believe it's the torque arm mount/trans mount.)
2nd. I get this vibration in the car around 40ish to about 55ish it gets pretty noticeable if I leave it in regular drive (gets worse with higher RPM) was thinking u-joints but not really sure about that because if I rev up the car while in park I can feel the vibrations just as if I was driving any idea on what that could be ?
Any help would be helpful!!
Thanks Lance.

Silver & Blue- 02 Camaro SS, 04 GTO
Trans Mount. Have a buddie look under the car while you put it in gear and give it a little gas with your foot on the brake. If you see movement in the tailhousing then replace the mount.
My ride is a 2002 Camaro SS SLP #3296 with 30k, LTH, 3" Y, CME, Frost tune, K&N, ported TB, Blackwing lid, Bellows, MSD, Denso Iridium, and 85mm MAF, Bilsteins, Eibach springs, SLP strut brace, Adj. Panhard, TA Girdle, UMI, Pro 5.0, Nitto NT555
My wife has a 2004 GTO with the rare SAP, 18" wheels, K&N Cold Air System, MSD, Ported TB, Frost tune, Denso Iridium, Flowmaster cat-back, 3200 Yank, 75k
