pewter- 99 Trans Am
want to replace 350 trans with a good 700r4 trans.
I have a 77 camaro with a 350 trans about a year old, but I want to get a 700r4 from a good company that will stand behind it's work. I have always bought from B&M or TCI never had a problem, but they seem to be way higher than a company I am thinking about trying, it's name is monster transmission, they have a special the trans torque converter, dip stick, and kickdown cable for $1,700 TCI want 1800 just for the trans. Have anyone here did bussiness with monster trans and if so want are they all about.

I don't think many on here have used them as I have never read of a thread about them in the 4 years I've been here. However, there are several people over on the other LS site as well as other sites who have bad experiences with that builder. One in particular had his break within 500 miles. That was a warranty replacement after the first one broke...
Google search: monster transmission reviews and look at the other forums.
