Tell me about 94-98 Saleen Mustangs
I know nothing about them, never been a Mustang man perse' but with the crazy prices of new mundane cars I have been thinking about a stock 94-98 Saleen with super low miles. I would only buy a white one though. I know the 94's and 95's were the old 302 right, or did they all have the 351?? I have no preference between the 96-98's or the 94-95's, originality and miles would matter more. Anyone ever own one or know of a really good site about them? Info I have been finding out is all over the map.
A 1998 Roush Stage III seems pretty cool too, but I know even less about them, a little ricey though.

I guess it's true, all the decent people left this site years ago, it's a shame but I thought I'd give it a chance.

Think about it man, do you really want info about a specialty mustang from a bunch of guys to eat, sleep and dream LS1's. Like you said we are narrow minded but not bastards so iif you have that attitude then I would recomend taking a hike to the nearest mustang forum. Otherwise, let the little comments go and don't insult everyone on the forum and the forum itself.

I can't stand Mustang boards, don't know why I just can't. LS1's are fine, once I realized the thread was going nowhere I figured I could at leats make it interesting.

Seriously thought, the 95's have the 351, but I'm not sure about 94's. The SR 351 Coupe was sc'ed with 480 h.p. and the vert. or Speedster had 370 h.p.

I wouldn't get a Saleen unless it had the s/c'd 351. Personally, I don't like the looks of the mustangs from 94-98 whether it's a GT, Roush, Saleen or Cobra. I like the Fox bodies and the 99+ body styles better.
I've never owned a Saleen and can't speak from experience but from the outside looking in it appears that you pay a lot of money for the looks and the name for Saleen. Even considering the S281 E, that's still a lot of dough for what you get when if you just have to have a mustang you could get a GT or Cobra and s/c, tune, gears, headers, exhaust, and necessary upgrades and be at or ahead of the S281 for less money. That's just my $0.02

You wanna know about Saleens? Well, they SUCK! They are nothing more than a GT with a body kit...and a huge pricetag! The only exception is a S-351...and that marginal; and this is coming from a Mustang owner.
