Headlight Question
Okay so I recently purchased audi r8 style headlights for my 01 z28. They have halo LEDs and the rope LEDs, sadly i dont have a picture since i am at work. Now my question is with the LEDs, on the back of the unit there are two short wires about 5 inches long. I am assuming they are the positive (red) and negative (black) wires for the LEDs. I want to have the LEDs on all the time. I was thinking i could splice into my daytime running lights (next to the turn signals, using a quick splice) so they would be on all the time. I know i will have to buy extra wire if i take this rout. Would this be the best way to do it? Also is there a place where i can splice the LED positive wire to another positive, and negative to negative on the running lights? I was thinking i could splice into my low beams but then the LEDs would only be on when my low beams were on and i dont want that. Any help with this would be great, thanks!

i wired my halo's into my fog lights so i could turn them on and off randomly. i have just the rope LEDS. Most of the time i do not have mine on, do most of my driving during the day.
