Have you replaced anything else when you replaced the slave cylinder?

I would replace the master with it this time, at least.
Have you replaced the clutch any of these times? If not, it probably wouldn't hurt either.
I have found out..... the hard way, that it is probably a good idea to go ahead and change out the clutch system all at once when you have these kinds of failures.

hey man me and you are both on the same road here. my trans am has been going through these like a preist on little boys. i pulled my tranny bc i heard the input shaft could be the problem, but also may not be. my problem was as soon as i had a new tranny installed the slave cylinders kept going with the new install. i had a new clutch installed and then the car made it four years...then the slave broke again with only 25k miles on it. pulled it all back off and there were metal shavings ever where inside the bell housing from the old slave cylinder. then they put a new on in it and it popped only 2 miles down the road. im curreently tearing the tranny apart and im going to replace my fourth gear syncro, and replace the input shaft or the bearing that goes around it, plus i am going to replace that pilot bearing and the master cylinder...and if that doesnt work im pushing my car into a rivine and collecting insurance.
