my t-tops rattle like hell. i had them replaced after the glass was scratched and they dont fit well at all. i installed subframe connectors and there is no difference. anything you can do?

I took a look at your car. Looks good! I am surprised to hear
that they rattle so much! I am not sure as to a great idea how
to fix that rattling. Has your car ever been in an accident of any
kind? Check the roof body seals of the t-tops out and see how
soft and pliable they are. Get back to me after you have looked
at these possibilities.

yeah it was in an accedent before i got it. the guy slid off a road and hit a fence post right behind the driver's door. everything was fixed and the car was not totaled. i think they had to replace all the glass and the tops. the drivers side top has a huge gap between the t-top and the front pillar about a 1/2 inch, and the t-top is kind of a different color. so i know it wasnt from this car. is there a difference between 98-00 and 01-02 t-tops?

NO. You should be able to interchange 1993-2002 tops. Only slight modifications
were made to the seals, but nothing that would effect the fit. The fact
that your car was in an accident such as the one you described causes
me to believe that the body of the car was offset & the main place if you
were to notice anything at all, would be noticed at the ttops, being that
you are basically taking the roof on and off.
