mine does the same thing. I figure the headers heat right next to the ac condenser thing just create a lot of condensation. I could be wrong tho

The AC condensate drain will run for some time after the car is shut off. Same with both our Trans Am and Suburban. On a hot and humid day, you will get a puddle under the car.

Mine leaves a decent size puddle after it sits in the garage.

Correct. It's when you have no puddle on the ground and you have a puddle on the passenger floor board that you need to worry.
OP - you also need to remember this when your passenger floor plan starts to get flooded on hot days running the ac. There is a drain hole that is a PITA to find. It is so small and in such a hidden location that it took me 3 times to find it. If it gets clogged up the condensation will leak inside the cabin. Not sure why or how, just know it does. You can fix it by using a coat hanger and poke the hole, you will get wet if you have a build up of liquid. The location is against the fire wall on the passenger side. You have to look straight up where the headers bend to merge. If I can find a pic I'll post it.
