    First Build.. where to start?

I have searched a few stickies after buying my second m6, and know I am going to have to start with suspension and drivetrain. Right now, I'm looking at slp bolt on subframe connectors, strut brace, koni struts and eibach or strano springs? Is there anything else I'm missing with suspension before I move to the rear end? I bought the car bone stock with 10 k miles on it. I have a slp lid on it to help her breath, but not worried about power now because no point on having it if the car doesn't move.

Torque arm. Shorter ones are for drag racing, longer ones are for road racing. BMR and UMI all make good components. Larger sway bars front and back are always a good thing to go with, too.

Do you plan to drag race or autocross your car?

Looking for a good weekend cruiser, so mostly autocross. I'll look into those, any hot brands?

Go with somebody like UMI or BMR, which are both reputable companies. You can't go wrong with either one.

The UMI subframe connectors work and fit great. For Auto-X, you'll want the 3 points that connect in the middle at the tunnel brace. Also, go with a full length torque arm, but get the UMI mount that gets it off the transmission tailstock. After that, lower control arms and panhard bar -- either adjustable if you plan on lowering your car, or non-adjustable if it will stay stock ride height.

Depends on what you order. I believe you can specify the amount of drop (if any) when you order. The preferred setup seems to be Stranos and Konis on our cars.
