arrest me red- 2002 z28 camaro
need help
Well, went to back out of my garage this morning. But the camaro in reverse and ... nothing. It just stood still. Did a double take on parking brake. It was down lol. So I gave it some gas and it chirped the back tires. Out of instinct I pressed the brake so I didnt go flying out the garage. When I let off the break it went like normal. However, I was apprehensive knowing something wasn't right. So I pulled it back into the garage. And reverse still won't work. Is this common?

No, it's not common. Have you checked/changed the fluid lately? I'd start with that.

I had that done about 6 months ago. About 5k miles. Shop told me that, that could've been the initial cause.

Come to find out, there was basically no reverse clutch left. had transmission rebuilt by a local shop. Luckily she was only out of service for about a week, but on the road now. Goodness does it feel good to be back in the driver seat.
