**Whats this Hugger Camaro Worth?**
It is a 99 Hugger Orange Hardtop Camaro Z28 auto in mint shape. 120k miles on the clock. Has a SS hood and wing, with a berger panel along with full exhaust and a lid.

Hmmm I've been out of the game for shopping for F-Bodies but if it is in mint shape with a good paint job......I would say $13000 isnt far off.

$13,000 seems way high. I was thinking $10,000.

Light Pewter Metallic- 2001 Camaro SS
I just sold a mint 99 Z with 102,000 on the clock for $7,000 and when I say it was mint it was absolutely perfect. I had it for sale for quite awhile as well. I started it near 10 and had to keep lowering it to get any interest.

Light Pewter Metallic- y2k 8-cylinder catfish
I'd put it around $11k, since it's a Hugger. My car's got 48k miles on it and KBB lists it as being worth just under $10k. None of the modifications should typically increase the standing value of the car (unless a potential buyer wants to pay extra for those extras).

Arctic White, red/gray- 1997 Corvette, 92 Typhoon
I would say 8-9k, I see 130k-180k ls1 f-bodys that drive great going for 4500-5k sometimes. The color on this one is rare and if its in mint shape I would say 9k would be as high as I would go.

I just bought a show condition 2000 SS with 57k miles for 11k. 13 is insane for a Z.
Start with NADA of KBB for a good idea on the value.

Once they hit 100k+ people should stop asking for anything above $9k..
Over 100k and thier just not worth that much.

I see your point, but @ 120k the paint prolly is'nt that good anymore.
I had 130k on my 01 NBM when I let it go and it was a crap ton of work to keep it nearly spotless.
Even so,,, it was begining to show it's age just from exposure to summer sunshine alone.
On the other hand, over time, a Corvette will hold on to it's value relatively well, these cars just do not..
Now if it were bone stock, low mileage, mint condition, and pushing antique status, then I could see some monitary appreciation accompanied with the rarety of it's color alone..
I just don't see the justification for an extra 2-3-4 grand over any other 4th gen f-body @ the same wear level when becomming second or third owner..
Now that's just me, others may see it differently and be willing to pay the extra price for Hugger Orange..
Personally I would'nt/don't..

Custom Swirly Black- 2001 WS6 M6
Just because the color is rare doesn't always increase its value. What's the demand for hugger orange? Probably not high, but I could be wrong.
I would say 7k, 120k on a z28 are your two main points. That's what I would expect to get, so obviously start out higher, 9k or so. Is it a manual as well? Been to the track much?

hugger orange wasn't a rare color for the year. not super high on the production scale as far as black or pewter obviously...but there were close to 1500 made in '99. on the other hand they didn't offer hugger orange for more than a year or two so over the course of the late 4th gens then yes it is a rare color. hugger orange is also one of the more storied colors in chevy history. if the guy selling is anything like me (or any one of the rest of us on here) he'd ask a little more because it's hugger orange...maybe around $1500 more but that would be the serious upper end of it.

I haven't shopped for a car in forever and am closer on price then you all. I just shopped on autotrader and didnt find a car cheaper then $10k all the way up to $32k for a 02 SS. What its worth and what people ask are totally different. Used car prices are rediculous now a days.

If it was a t56 i'd say around 10k but being an auto I wouldn't pay more than 8k for it. Even in mint condition with that many miles and the power it's been behind the tranny could let go at any time. Hey you could use that as a negotiation point
I sold my bolt-on 00 Z28 auto for 9.5k years back with around 97k on the clock. ..the 4l60e never gave me problems but you never know.
Have any pics?
